After the Republican debate on june 5th, CNN.com had a blog entitled "Who Won?". The overwhelming majority of comments left on that blog said that Congressman Ron Paul had won the debate.

Well it appears that CNN did not like all the comments that were left by the Ron Paul supporters because somewhere around 11:05 Central time they took down that blog and started redirecting to a blog of the same name that was posted on June 3rd for the Democrats debate. Here is the link for the Republican debate blog posting http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2007/06/05/who-won-the-debate/ and here is the link to the democratic debate blog http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2007/06/03/who-won-the-debate/ .

Is CNN trying to silence Ron Paul supporters. You be the judge.

How much filthier can the big media outlets get regarding shutting down Ron Paul. It seems like everyone up in the circles of power is scared shitless about the revolution that this guy could bring to Washington if elected. Imagine, a president that would be governing with the average people in mind, how can that be allowed?

Jun 6th 2007, by Guest
I got caught in that wrong page about an hour ago after watching the debate, and looking around at the choices. I was wondering why hillary and obama were listed. Had to dig to find the correct page. I didn't agree with all the other CNN voters, but Ron Paul was my first choice. Gravel would be my 2nd. Kucinich is interesting.

Jun 6th 2007, by Guest
what sort of country are we living in now? cnn did have a poll for the june 5 debates, and Ron Paul won at 53% last i saw it, but now there is nothing but the poll for the last dem, debate. cnn should be caused to report the truth.

Jun 6th 2007, by Guest
It's still there, they will just blame it on a technical glitch.

Only one candidate stood out strongly: Doctor Ron Paul! Ron Paul, Dr. Ron Paul!
Posted By Dave, Naples, NY : June 5, 2007 9:15 pm

Ron Paul won. Without a question. It’s so ridiculous to see that these guys keep pumping the same neo-conservative line about them “hating our freedoms” when CIA reports have historically said otherwise.
Posted By Elias Ambler : June 5, 2007 9:16 pm

Ron Paul won the debate. He is the only candidate that seems to be honest and not out of touch. He is also anti-amnesty and believes that Americans have the right to privacy and believes in property rights (anti-eminent domain: none of the other candidates have even touched it). Before this debate I was unsure about who to support (Democrat or Republican) and with this debate I’m totally with Ron Paul.

Ron Paul. All the other candidates not only fail to grasp the failure in Iraq but are chomping at the bit to nuke Iran proactively. Wow, talk about being detached from reality.

Ron Paul again.
Posted By Sammy, Dyersburg, TN : June 5, 2007 9:18 pm

The one candidate who is consistently right on the issues is Duncan Hunter. But he’s all steak and no sizzle.
Posted By Ron, Phoenix, Arizona : June 5, 2007 9:19 pm

Top three (in order): Ron Paul, Mike Huckabee, Tom Tancredo. I like Gilmore, sort of like Romney, but I don’t trust Giuliani, McCain, or Brownback, or Hunter.

It was boring, boring, boring! I could have sworn Bush was doing all the talking. The repetitive “my friends” from McCain showed just how superior he feels…just like Bush. If nominated, he does not have my vote!!!!

Ron Paul is the only true conservative among them.

Posted By A.L. Dawson : June 5, 2007 9:23 pm

Ron Paul won. He showed that he is the only conservative on that stage. He understands our Nation’s great founding principles that continue to guide us today.

Giuliani was terrible. He ran around questions. Even God doesn’t want to hear him speak. Though only about 4 of 10 candidates answered what is the worst thing that GWB has done as president.

If the Republican party wants a NYC mayor, look no further than Bloomberg. The people of NYC replaced Giuliani with Bloomberg just months after 9/11 and never looked back. He cleaned up all of Giuliani’s messes.

By the way, if Giuliani loves the war on terror so much, why doesn’t he marry it?

Oh, right. He would probably divorce it two months later.
Posted By Jason, Albuquerque, NM : June 5, 2007 9:24 pm

The one who makes the most sense has always been Ron Paul, and this debate only reinforces the point.
Posted By Tim, Yonkers NY : June 5, 2007 9:24 pm

Ron Paul,
He is the only one that is right on all the issues. Number two: Tancredo-needs to back down on the wars.
Number three: Huckabee-trying too hard to
please everybody.
Posted By Carla Corman. Montgomery, IL. : June 5, 2007 9:25 pm

Without question Dr. Ron Paul won this debate. It was especially clear how these neo-cons contradict themselves regarding the morals question. It is clear they do NOT value all life in their actions with pre-emptive illegal wars killing hundreds of thousands including our own brave soldiers. Ron Paul clearly stood out as the only candidate that would rally the country to lead by example. We cannot continue to simply say we value life yet act in manner, globally that indicates otherwise.
Posted By Brian Loy, Kansas City, MO : June 5, 2007 9:25 pm

Ron Paul, even though he was given too few questions. He answered frankly and openly, and he made sense unlike the others.
Posted By Cincinnati, OH : June 5, 2007 9:26 pm

Ron Paul and his reasoning skills sets him above the rest, he is articulate and treats the American public with respect and tells us the truth of the way things are. His comments on pre-eptive strikes was right on.

Posted By Jon Games : June 5, 2007 9:29 pm

Ron Paul. He’s the only one who spoke his truth without acting like a typical politician.
Romney was the worst with playing the typical politician and Giulani and a couple of others played the fear card -pandering to what they thought people wanted to hear.
Ron Paul is the only Republican so far, who I would vote for.
Posted By June Bakersville,NC : June 5, 2007 9:29 pm

I didn’t actually listen to the debates (only able to follow online here). Since I don’t really know anything about any of the candidates, and it looks like Ron Paul is going to win “Most Popular” at our HS Senior Breakfast this year, I guess I’ll vote for him … and troll every online form to tell everyone about him as well!
Posted By Alex, San Diego, CA : June 5, 2007 9:30 pm

Ron Paul wins again. He is the only one who has the guts to tell the truth while the majority of the rest only say what they think the American people want to hear.

Even though he was given less time than the three puppet candidates. Dr. Paul gave the debate of shot of truth. The champion of the constitution and debate.
Posted By Jade, Bay City Texas : June 5, 2007 9:30 pm

The thing is you already know! Try looking for a poll on the net for “who won?” it is hard to find BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT RON PAUL WOULD WIN EVERY POLL!!

Ron Paur clearly won….but go ask your buddies….before they change their mind to Ron as well.
Posted By Dan Malone Clearwater Fl. : June 5, 2007 9:31 pm

Terrible hosting by Wolf Blitzer. When a candidates time is up, the microphone should be cut off. I ended up hearing too many smoke and mirrors from the upper tier candidates and not enough from the lower tier.

Shame on Wolf !!!! He did a terrible job.
Posted By Dianne Boyte, Matthews North Carolina : June 5, 2007 9:31 pm

Ron Paul won. Every other candidate wants to continue this war and Bush’s failed policies. I can’t believe that Rudy McRomney leads the polls. Wow, the Republicans are in big trouble.

CNN did a poor job. All the post-debate talk is about the 3 “main” candidates (those who have received exorbinate amounts of funds from special interests) who hogged all the limelight during the debate. Tonight, thanks to CNNs manipulation of mic time, viewers were left at the short end of the stick. And I thought you guys were the real fair and balanced network. I’m disappointed with CNN
Posted By Tyler, Santa Barbara, CA : June 5, 2007 9:31 pm

Only one candidate really stands out to me in both parties and that is Rep. Ron Paul from Texas. Dr. Paul is the only candidate that to me seems incorruptible. Not only does he abstain from participating in the lucrative congressional pension program but he has also never voted to raise taxes and he has never voted to raise congressional pay. To me he is by far the most unique and powerful candidate. Whether he is speaking about foreign policy or immigration he is a true conservative.
Posted By Robert Gordon, Olympia Washington : June 5, 2007 9:31 pm

To borrow a quote thrown around, it was a “slam dunk” for Ron Paul. he seemed to say what the public is screaming. BRING THE TROOPS HOME! He was the ONLY one who iterated the &) percent of the publics outcry!
Posted By Jerry Dial, Townsend, Tennessee : June 5, 2007 9:33 pm

Ron Paul won in my opinion, even though he was cut off from answering the group-wide questions. I understand it was to keep the debate moving, but at the same time, Ron Paul is a significant candidate. He has a fertile grassroots campaign, and it is growing. I believe the man deserves to answer the question - isn’t that what Blitzer guaranteed to the candidates?
Posted By Alex - Roswell, GA : June 5, 2007 9:33 pm

Ron Paul won, without a doubt. He stuck to the questions and gave consistent, accurate answers.
Posted By Jim Vernon, Eugene, OR : June 5, 2007 9:33 pm

Ron Paul. He answered the questions asked. Told the truth. “You don’t spread freedom with a barrel of the gun” — best line of the evening
Posted By Gor Nishanov, Redmond, WA : June 5, 2007 9:34 pm

Ron Paul won this debate hands down! Because he points out why they hate us an it has nothing to do with our freedom! Also Paul wants to bring the troops home an stop policing the world!
Go Dr. Paul
Posted By Tony Blountville Tn : June 5, 2007 9:34 pm

That was a shameful cover of the debate. They hardly even talked to Ron Paul. The other candidates blurted out answers to questions that weren’t even asked. It seemed as if you ignored the true facts of whats wrong with this country and ignored Ron Paul all together. You in conclusion are the worst news coverage on earth. Thank you for your time dirtbags.

Posted By Jerry Dial, Townsend, Tennessee : June 5, 2007 9:36 pm

Tancredo won, but all the “minor” candidates gave straight and solid answers. The “big three” spouted nothing but gobble-dee-gook. Tancredo should pick up some support, I could see in his eyes he still gives a damn about this country. I also like Ron Paul, but he didn’t get to say much.

Ron Paul with the few moments given showed class & statesmanship and your slick con job on the American people is being revealed!!

Posted By ArchAngel : June 5, 2007 9:38 pm

I would have to say Ron Paul. I spent the last two hours focusing on what was said, and I’ve heard it all before. We need a decent change in America, one that’s actually does something and truly represents our needs as a people, not faceless golbal corporations. All the other same old canadates are bought and paid for, so they lead you down the same old path. If your really want to make your vote count for once, as someone who belives in American values and in defence of our Great Nation, it would help if you would spend a few minutes and Google Ron Paul. Watch the videos and make up you own mind, consider what’s best for you!
Posted By Patrick MacDonald Boston MA : June 5, 2007 9:38 pm

Who won? I’m still waiting for the other 7 candidates to express their views!!
Blizter, like a good little media droid steered everything to the “big three” and completely disenfranchised the other seven. I really don’t have to listen to the debates to know who won my vote, because I know how he’s voted since the day he was elected, Ron Paul.
All anyone has to do is check a talk ticker and it will show that CNN will marginalize everyone they don’t deem as relavent just like in the Dem’s debate.
Posted By Terry Lund, Houston TEXAS : June 5, 2007 9:39 pm

Ron Paul’s world policy is right on and got the most applauds. Rudy Giuliani looked like the living dead. Tommy Thompson’s health care was passionate. McCain looks like a little man in a big suit. Romney was the dapper dude.

Posted By Aly - Grand Forks, North Dakota : June 5, 2007 9:44 pm

Why have so many comments disappeared? My friends are concerned that what they’ve said has shown up and apperantly been deleted.

Anyway, even though he only got half as much time as Rudy, McCain, and Romney, Ron Paul clearly stood out from the rest of the pack.

Posted By Theo Roth, Birmingham AL : June 5, 2007 9:50 pm

With 70% of Americans opposing the war in Iraq, I think its clear that Ron Paul’s message resonates with the most people. Besides, he is also a true conservative and has literally never voted for increasing taxes. For those reasons I think Ron Paul won the debate.
Posted By David Ferraro, Schenectady, New York : June 5, 2007 9:50 pm

Even though he was given less of a chance to speak, and seemingly always thrown under the bus by the mainstream media–Ron Paul answers clearly and honestly. He answered each question without changing the subject in a way we could all understand. I think he is the best choice all around!
Posted By Steve W : June 5, 2007 9:51 pm

Posted By D P, Brooklyn, NY : June 5, 2007 9:57 pm

I saw a rather sterile and mundane debate with little substance on real issues. That said, Dr. Paul was the sole participant to say his views in short and concise answers based in rational and constitutional thought. Hands down, he wins

Ron Paul won the debate. There hasn’t been a single mention of him yet in the post-debate show. If I hear Anderson Cooper and Larry King talking about the so-called “top-tier” candidates I am going to puke. Stop talking about Fred Thompson who wasn’t even there and talk about the people who were there, not just the “top 3″.
Posted By Anne, Ventura, CA : June 5, 2007 10:01 pm

Ron Paul received 5 minutes and 51 seconds in speaking time. His comments were economical, intelligent, sharp, coherent, no wasted time or moments to any of his answers on seven oportunities. His final remark and only opportunity in the final hour was his best moment, on pre-emptive nuclear war. Republicans, particularly Romney, Giuliani, McCain and others had advocated/refused to rule out a tactical nuclear weapons strike if Iran gets nuclear materials! Since such an event is an inevitability, that is a giant nation like Iran -which is certainly entitled like Pakistan, India, Israel to nuclear power- gets fissionable energy, these candidates are assuring nuclear war in our near future.

Only Ron Paul repudiated this. He final statement on turning away from ‘just war’ to ‘pre-emptive war’ is the great issue of the debate, and he, as Stephen Colbert would say, nailed it.

If Ron Paul were not at this debate, a terrible ommission would have been made — no one else opposed the idea of nuclear war against Iran if they pursue nuclear power. Ron Paul reiterated that Iran is not a threat to the USA, and said pre-emptive war is madness and a violation of the American spirit, and Constitution.

Mitt Romney is a blue-blood blowhard that no ordinary working man or woman could relate to. Rudolph Giuliani is an authoritarian who will use his term in office to pursue a catastrophic failed foreign policy.

John Mccain was like Ceasar is the final remark of the evening, promising victory at any cost in Iraq, no matter how long it took. The man is sorely in need of his triumphant moment of military glory. When you factor in that all of them except Dr. Paul favored the war in Iraq, and are lukewarm about even ending it, and that all 9 favored or would not rule out pre-emptive use of nuclear weapons against Iran, which Dr. Paul rightly described as the moral dilemma of our time and supported what he called ” The Just War of Christian ethics “, which rules out any legitimacy to pre-emptive war.

Dr. Paul was the only candidate who honestly answered every question.

Please, everyone who supports Dr. Paul should support his candidacy with their financial donations. This is the only way that he will convince the corrupt, cynical, jaded media that he is a viable candidate deserving of more coverage.
Posted By Richard B., Beverly Hills, CA : June 5, 2007 10:05 pm

Just like in the Democratic debate, there was nothing from the front-runners. How can anyone actually support these people?

Mitt Romney was awful. Did he actually say anything of substance? All I heard was a bunch “ain’t America great?” platitudes along with some stuff about selling products. Loved how he used the abortion question to run through all of his conservative credentials like he thought the debate was over and he’d better say this list of things. Well played, sir.

Rudy Giuliani actually made a good start with the idea of the tax credit to go buy your own health insurance and then degenerated into the “socialized medicine” claptrap. And poor John McCain. It’s been 7 years since the Straight Talk Express and it looks like that’s been parked in the roundhouse. Only place he looked like the old John McCain was on immigration.

Here’s who stood out to me: Ron Paul. I already like this guy’s willingness to break out of the bipartisan “indispensible nation” b.s. We’ve got a lot of problems here at home we need to be fixing before we start trying to run everybody else’s affairs. Mike Huckabee also came off well (although, yes, the Taliban can take some of the credit for the collapse of the Soviet Union. Afghanistan did turn into the USSR’s Vietnam after all). Duncan Hunter had a good point about state-to-state restrictions on health insurance, wish he’d gotten a chance to expound on what he’d do about that. And Sam Brownback, well, I deeply disagree with him on abortion and other morals issues, but I think he’s got a point that faith and science don’t have to be mutually exclusive.

If this thing ends up Rudy McRomney vs. Hilbama, I’ll probably end up voting 3rd party again.

Mostly though, these people scare me. Premptive Nuclear War? God help us. I just started following the canidates a little bit, and this is what they are talking about?

The only person on that whole stage that made any sense at all was Ron Paul, I’d never even heard of him much before, but this guy speaks directly to the question. No puffing. I wish he would’ve gotten a little more time to talk on other issues.

Ron Paul was clear and forthright. He is the one candidate that understands the Constitution. He is therefore, the only candidate suited for the White House.

I hope the people in New Hampshire are reading this and took note of Dr. Paul tonigt. Because God knows if they are watching CNN right now they are going to vote for McCain, Mitt, or Rudy.

As rare as it may be in politics these days, people recognize integrity, sound-reasoning, and statesmanship when they see it. Ron Paul radiates all three with every word that he utters and won the debate hands-down.
Posted By JJ La Medica : June 5, 2007 10:13 pm

I believe Ron Paul won, but I saw some strong showings from Romney, and Huckabee. I was disgusted by Giuliani, Brownback, and Tancredo.

Ron Paul made some of the best points.
Romney was very presenteable, and Huckabee’s evolution speech was handled very well.

Dr. Ron Paul is the only candidate who gave real conservative Republican answers to all of the questions. He is clearly the best suited to carry the Republican nomination for President of the United States.
Posted By Nick, Urbana IL : June 5, 2007 10:14 pm

Ron Paul won the debate. He was the only candidate that supported freedom, liberty, and small government. In addition, he is the only one who opposes the USA forcing it’s will on other nations.

RON PAUL is the Winner!!!
As a champion for the Constitution…
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

Funny that of all the candidates, he has raised by far the least.

So maybe instead of voting for free on here, you can send him some money, eh?

Lol.

The bridge to nowhere, that is where the GOP is going; absolutely nowhere. Let’s burry the nuclear waste in their GOP’s backyards; take a vacation to Chernobyl. Bush “apres office”…send him Dafar. Invoking or conjuring-up Abe Lincoln, who freed the slaves; not give big business opportunity a profit on $1.00 per hour illegal. Devaluating the job for American citizens to earn a $5.25 per hour pay. What bad drugs did Giuliani smoke…emphasizing national security, when he was repeated told not to put the NYC office of security in the WTC, reflecting on 1993 attack. The GOP is sending a bad message to our “enemies…who want to do us harm.” We’re idiots!
Posted By F Douglas, Brooklyn, NY : June 5, 2007 10:31 pm

The bad thing is is that the average Joe doesn’t watch debates they watch the recap on CNN or Fox news and form their opinions there. We are screwed because they ignore Ron Paul and only cover Rudy, Romney, and McCain.
Posted By Allen Sircy, Nashville, TN : June 5, 2007 10:31 pm

I concur with everyone else, it was only RON PAUL who spoke any sense on that stage, 90% of the rest was just pandering by celebrity candidates who don’t care at all about us citizens and our rights.
Posted By Paul, Boone NC : June 5, 2007 10:31 pm

I am not a Fox fan, but I must say they did a better job than CNN. Too much Wolf talking and not enough balance between all the candidates. The post debate shows were even worse. Just Rudy and Mitt and McCain…how lame. Everyone is tied in delegates. SHOW EVERYBODY! No to empire…Yes to Liberty and Freedom…Go Ron Paul!

I believe the honorable Dr. Ron Paul outperformed all the other candidates. In the short time he was allotted, he answered each question to the point, citing appropriate historical references, and in general showed intellectual rigor and thought in his answers. no resorting to popular catch phrases.

This man is intelligent as anything.

Many of the candidates seemed somewhat flakey, and flip-flopped on issues they had said differently about before in their career.

I believe Ron Paul shined in this debate because he made it clear that our foreign policy is NOT working, so why stick with old tactics if they arent working?

He stands for TRUE conservatism and he is the ONLY Republican that would be able to get Independent and Democratic votes. I vote Ron Paul.

Those so called top three are the three stooges that are clearly independent of our nation’s opinions on key agendas. GO RON PAUL.

CNN IS NOT FAIR AND BALANCED WHATSOEVER!!!!

CNN and the corporate controlled, criminal MSM are totally un-American and need to be held accountable for constantly lying to the public. We know you are doing by giving all the debate time to the criminal Goul and marginalizing the only real candidate Ron Paul. I do not trust CNN at all. They constantly lie and cover up the crimes of traitor Bush and his cabal.

I just sent the following to MSNBC - rather than attacking, I tried to appeal to reason.

Hello Gina

It's come to my attention that you are the one to speak to concerning content.

In the interests of providing a fair representation of the will of the American people, I would like to request more coverage on presidential candidates Ron Paul, Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich.

These candidates offer an alternative to the millions of Americans who believe that our government has slowly been moving away from the principles expressed in the Constitution and the Declaration of Independance. These candidates remind us that being what being American is all about.

I realize that it is difficult and sometimes not in the best interests of the individual to take a stand against the will of those who sign our paychecks, however I must point out that every right and freedom we now enjoy required sacrifice. I know that the power brokers are doing everyhting the can to distort and silence these brave men for speaking truth to power. I'm asking you as a fellow American to take a risk and give the people what they want.

We do not want perpetual war and profiteering and we do not want Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Rudy Giulliani or Mitch Romney. These individuals are the choices of the establishment and the establishment is the enemy of the people.

Allow me to share some quotes with you from the signatories of the Constitution of the United States of America and then you can judge for yourself if where we are at today is in line with these ideals.

In proportion as the structure of a government gives force to public opinion, it is essential that public opinion should be enlightened.

George Washington, Farewell Address, September 19, 1796

A nation under a well regulated government, should permit none to remain uninstructed. It is monarchical and aristocratical government only that requires ignorance for its support. Thomas Paine, Rights of Man, 1792

We have it in our power to begin the world over again.

Thomas Paine, Common Sense, 1776

Guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism.

George Washington, Farewell Address, September 19, 1796

"The most effectual engines for [pacifying a nation] are the public papers... [A despotic] government always [keeps] a kind of standing army of newswriters who, without any regard to truth or to what should be like truth, [invent] and put into the papers whatever might serve the ministers. This suffices with the mass of the people who have no means of distinguishing the false from the true paragraphs of a newspaper." --Thomas Jefferson to G. K. van Hogendorp, Oct. 13, 1785. (*) ME 5:181, Papers 8:632

The nation which indulges towards another an habitual hatred, or an habitual fondness, is in some degree a slave. It is a slave to its animosity or to its affection, either of which is sufficient to lead it astray from its duty and its interest.

George Washington, letter to Alexander Hamilton, May 8, 1796

"The care of human life and happiness and not their destruction is the first and only legitimate object of good government."

Thomas Jefferson to Maryland Republicans, 1809. ME 16:359

If the federal government should overpass the just bounds of its authority and make a tyrannical use of its powers, the people, whose creature it is, must appeal to the standard they have formed, and take such measures to redress the injury done to the Constitution as the exigency may suggest and prudence justify.

Alexander Hamilton, Federalist No. 33, January 3, 1788

Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclination, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.

John Adams, in Defense of the British Soldiers on trial for the Boston Massacre, December 4, 1770

The right of freely examining public characters and measures, and of free communication among the people thereon ... has ever been justly deemed the only effectual guardian of every other right.

James Madison, Virginia Resolutions, December 21, 1798

My ardent desire is, and my aim has been... to comply strictly with all our engagements foreign and domestic; but to keep the U States free from political connections with every other Country. To see that they may be independent of all, and under the influence of none. In a word, I want an American character, that the powers of Europe may be convinced we act for ourselves and not for others; this, in my judgment, is the only way to be respected abroad and happy at home.

George Washington, letter to Patrick Henry, October 9, 1775

[H]onesty will be found on every experiment, to be the best and only true policy; let us then as a Nation be just.

George Washington, Circular letter to the States, June 14, 1783

Finally, there seem to be but three Ways for a Nation to acquire Wealth. The first is by War as the Romans did in plundering their conquered Neighbours. This is Robbery. The second by Commerce which is generally Cheating. The third by Agriculture the only honest Way; wherein Man receives a real Increase of the Seed thrown into the Ground, in a kind of continual Miracle wrought by the Hand of God in his favour, as a Reward for his innocent Life, and virtuous Industry.

Benjamin Franklin, Positions to be Examined, April 4, 1769

I hope you found that these statements shed some light on the nature of our democracy and the true intent of our nation. I do not seek to attack you for doing your job, but rather to enlighten you to the fact that those in power, both in business and politics do not defend the ideals and principles expressed by our founders, indeed every corporation that has consolidated power such as General Electric which owns MSNBC seeks only to maintain the status quo in which their power and influence is assured and so it is understandable that they would seek to silence or discredit dissenting voices, but what you must understand is that in actively excercising an abuse of power to silence these voices, they are acting un-American and if you, either consciously or unconsciously, through free will or coercion comply with this agenda for reasons of self preservation are doing a great disservice to the nation and to our future.

I hope you will take these thoughts into consideration and perhaps even share them with your peers. In a perfect world I would love to see you take upon yourself your own revolution and defy the whims of your masters and give the public the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Thank you for your time.

I noticed last night as CNN was talking about the button poll they did live. Intersting note, they were showing the scale on reaction to comments of candidates and as they were talking after making a few points on the Mofia Boss, the handsome dude and the military veteran with PTSD, in the background I saw a Ron Paul and the scale below him as he was talking.. The scale was through the roof... DId you also hear the supporters when ever he spoke... Look, face it... they are not going to cover him, his only chance is from the young folks via the net.

I tried to leave a comment on the Democrat Debate blog, and of course they have to be "approved". I have had it with all this censorship. CNN is BOYCOTTED! DO NOT WATCH THEM. Email them until they are FORCED to give Ron Paul fair treatment.

RON PAUL REVOLUTION!

Jun 6th 2007, by Guest
CNN did not allow my comment on the debate: CNN lost the debate by failing to keep it fair by insuring each candidate got the same amount of time. Also each get to answer each question. Ron Paul won because he focused on the Constitutional powers of office. The other spent as much time on how to govern Iraq as how to govern the US.

Jun 6th 2007, by Guest
This censorship is so shameless it would be comical if the subject wasn't so important.

Ron Paul is consistently polling at 0-1% of republican voters, yet his supporters continue to whine about him being ignored. His biggest support is on the internet, so perhaps he should run for the Internet Party. He is today's Howard Dean and tomorrow's forgotten man. He has been, throughout his time in Congress, THE most ineffectual person in Congress. His "celebrity" exists because he's sitting on stage with a bunch of prowar Reagan worshipers. Outside of his antiwar views Paul is a disaster and the only way he should enter the White House is as a guest

He just got 3% in the CNN/Wmur New Hampshire poll and he got almost 6% in the Utah GOP straw poll. In any case its better than the 0-1% you are quoting. It shows an uptrend and that my friend is a good thing

Ron Paul is a joke, as the MSNBC debate proved. His reply blaming Americans for 911 was an absolute classic foot-in-mouth moment. Legitimate polls done after the debate found that less than 1% thought he'd won -- by far the worst performance of any candidate. But putting that aside, are you saying that when Ron Paul supporters organize a campaign to spam CNN's message board -- in violation of CNN's usage rules -- CNN should just let them do it? CNN should acquiesce to being a tool of Ron Paul spinmeisters? I don't think so.

The July 2 guy is right. Those comments weren't a genuine groundswell of support for Ron Paul. Those comments were an orchestrated -- and pretty transparent -- attempt to make people believe Ron Paul is gaining momentum. He isn't -- even on the Internet -- and no amount of whining will change that. The Internet is a great medium for allowing a few people to shout and stomp their feet loudly, but only idiots and self-deceivers think that means anything.

I agree that CNN is a part of big media and their owners decide what goes, but dont let that take anything away from a man who is so similar to Ron Paul and would be a good choice for vice and thats Lou Dobbs. Anybody that has something bad to say about Dobbs does not know what they are talking about or they just hate CNN, just because he works for big media does not make him a enemy, and the things he believes in are the same things Ron Paul believes in so if your against Lou your against Ron. But heres a question. Will Ron Paul run as a independent if his own party craps on him as they have done the last many years? Those of you against Ron Paul and those who talk garbage about his supporters are the real joke, you are afraid of big change and are an enemy of me and real americans who care about this country and want to see change. Heres your choices, Rudy(crossdressing liar who used 911 to make himself look important), McCain(Never though I would call a Vet a traitor but), Romney(Are you kidding me?) the rest are not worth talking about. Hillary, Obama, Edwards? The dems have proven to be impotent, just like the head of all idiots Bush and that evil fu*k Dick. I now the majority of the country feels like I do but their stupidity and fear will keep them from making the right decision, Ron Paul 2008! And to those of you who voted for Bush, see you in hell!
