On a bright and sunny summer day in Fairbanks, Sarah Palin relinquished her governorship of
Alaska while blithely and cheerfully supporting our volunteer armed services personnel and chiding
the press to "stop makin' things up," whatever that means. With her scrubbed and radiant
countenance, Ms. Palin heralds the arrival of the "chipper" to replace the "Gipper" (Reagan).
Although quite shallow and elusive in her message, Sarah, plain and tall, forges ahead in the
knowledge that she has a patent on patriotism and jingoistic utterance that no one can deny.
If conviction alone were to carry the day, she would have no equal on the current landscape.
In all fairness, Ms. Palin is to be commended for living out her commitment to birth a
child with Down's Syndrome. And this old Vietnam vet does like to know that she supports the
troops. But when it comes to foisting her half-baked philosophies on the country at large, I
suspect she will be swiftly marginalized to commune with the 20 per cent of Obama-haters and
fundamentalists who will bolster her book sales and speaking fees. The phenomenon of her com-
bination of brashness, stunted intellect and naked ambition will surely be interesting to follow
as the obliging press corps salivates at her beck and call. (This is my first submittal).
About the Author
Author has a background in journalism and execution of environmental policies. He lives in Arkansas, his native state, and avidly supports President Obama, as he currently exists. He is continuously amazed at the fervor which conservative ideologues show for Palin, even though she has given them sparse fodder on which to chew.

Ah, another Obamanite,dazzled by carsalesman and Echo Freaks. Ya better take another look at the poles dude. You wish it were only 20 percent.. The attacks on Sarah Palin are unprecedented and continuing. From the Get-Go, left wing droolies ran to Alaska to dig for ANY thing to feed a smear campaign while left wing "entertainers" hiding behind so called humor suggested that Sarah's pregnant daughter was carrying her own fathers child. If Obama had this many people and funds spent on investigating him, we would now at least know about his birth right to the office of president and about his academic history and funding, would we not?
The only thing missing here is the short skirt and the pom - poms.... Obamanation of the Nation... Go team go..

Why are liberals so scared of Sarah? She has been ruthlessly attacked from the time she came on the national scene. The media respected Obama's call to leave his family out of the fray, not so with Sarah, every member of her family was fodder for the phobic liberals and the media. Even this author, a self confessed liberal can not stand letting Sarah leave without a parting shot. Interesting.

Richard, you cannot skew history to your liking.. Conservatives have a lot more information on how, when and where Sarah Palin has performed in politics and the responsibilities she has shouldered to the benefit of her constituents, And I don't thing she ever voted "Present". You puke up you're "continuously amazed at the fervor which conservative ideologues show for Palin, even though she has given them sparse fodder on which to chew." I would suggest that you revisit pre-election history and you will find Conservatives had a lot more qualifications to work with than Liberals had or even knew about Obama.. We still can't find out where he was born, or who paid for his education, or what he did in school because HE HAS PAID TO KEEP IT ALL SECRET!

Palin pulling out of the Governorship of Alaska is a sad blow to American Politics. The methods used and out and out unprecedented skewing of facts in order to spin Sarah in a bad light is astounding. Not only did the Liberal Democrats do this but the Liberal Media, Liberal Entertainers and others in the so called entertainment field. I would appear from the outside looking in to be a conspiracy by all liberals to cloud and paint Sarah in a bad light.
What did she bring to the stage that was so frightening to the Liberals. A Governor who took on her own party for corruption and WON. Took on the Oil Industry in her state and WON. A woman who not only remains married to her high school bow, but like many parents found that one of her children is handicapped and still opted to continue the pregnancy. A woman who like many found that a daughter has become pregnant but continued supporting her. A woman that dares believe in a power greater than herself. A woman who believes in America for what it was, is and can be. A woman who participates in life with her constituents surrounding herself with those who love America. Now tell me what is wrong with this woman that would bring on such wrath from Liberals.

Her philosophies come from an older generation that saved this world from Nazi's and Japanese Imperialism, held its own during the cold war. And is far more in sink with the Constitution than the liberal philosophies and policies being forced on us now.
I'm proud she embraces the same philosophies as our founding fathers and people like John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart and a host of other patriots.

Oh Wow, Richard, Is that ALL you can come up with is a miss spelled word? Typical Liberal tactic. When you cannot deal with the message, attack the messenger. And tell me Professor, "Cretins like to hear themselves", how do you tie miss spelled words with someone liking to hear themselves. I never ran across that in Psychology 101. You should address the responses you got to the article you wrote, I hope you have the intelligence to figure out their comments even with miss spellings to understand their point. You know full well the points made in these comments carry more truth than your article and you are not man enough to address them, so just admit you were full of it when you wrote it and let it go. No need to strut around about your spelling abilities, that was never challenged now was it? Remember Einstein, tell me how was his spelling professor?

Gather round oh ye retarded conservatives, we have a Liberal among us who can answer any and all our questions for they and they only have seen the light, not of God heaven forbid but of their Progressive Brain Powers. So I will ask but one question of "Richard the All Knowing", take me by the hand for I am lost in Politics, please guide me to any place, any where that I may view Pres. Obama's right as a "Citizen" as required by the Constitution to hold the office he occupies. Now, Now, don't go leading me to that phony Certificate of live birth that was given as proof which even I can get for my self today if I wanted.. NO, NO, I mean the kind most of us have tucked away in a closet, safe or Bible, (oh, I'm sorry for that nasty word), you know the Certificate that has the Hospital's name on it, the parents names on it, the attending physician's Name on it, and all the data like weight, length and the little footsie prints. Take my hand ole wise Liberal one and lead me out of my ignorance and show me his Birth Certificate. If you cannot then set the F * * K down and shut up. This should be the very basic question that any liberal should be able to answer, but they cannot because Obama has spent thousands of dollars hiding his birth records, school records and a whole host of other information from all of us including you liberals. A growing number of Democrats do not want to give up the freedoms being sot after by this Liberal administration in Healthcare and Cap and trade.. . A growing number are waking up to the fact that neither program addresses the problems but only serves to grow government and diminish personal freedoms... I will never understand how people can ignore the writings on the wall of history and the present.. Obama, pays to hide his past, associates with those who for the most part hate America... Has done very little in his life...
