When did America become an explicitly atheist country? I can't find it in the Constitution. I cannot find any reference in our founding papers about adhering to atheistic views. Or any specific religion...
Atheism is nothing more than a belief that there is no Supreme architect, that all of what we see and feel came to be through spontaneous means all on there own, the belief is based on evolution even though evolution is not proven as a fact and has many unexplained jumps in its theory..
I would suggest that Atheism is no different than a religion. It is a belief system that is based on personal needs and unproven theories. It has its leaders, it has its mantras to spew, it has a following....
And this Religion of Atheism's apparent goal is to push aside all other religions for no more reason than they are offensive to the Atheist. They have pushed all religions references out of schools, public buildings, oaths, remembrances of fallen heroes, Government Certificates. etc, and etc.
And by so doing have made our government force Atheism on us, which of course is against the Constitution. Previously, all religions were recognized by our government. They could share displays on public lands and buildings. No one religion was sanctioned above another. No one was forced to pray or adhere to any specific
belief system, in short there was NO STATE SANCTIONED RELIGION.
Not so now. Slowly but surely all representations of all religions are being taken out of and off of historical sites, documents, oaths etc... The Atheistic view is all the view the Government will be allowed to promote in schools, oaths, documents etc.
The forbidding of religious references is by its nature forcing adherence to Atheism...... And thereby having a Government which is promoting one religion over another, that being Atheism....
Some believe in a Supreme being or entity which brought about all that is...
Some believe there is no Supreme being or entity which brought all this about...
They are both beliefs.....
About the Author
The Bible says thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself. We cannot read the Bible in schools. Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves. Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out.

You are right. This is a new way of thinking about this. Our government is forcing us slowly to give up all public displays of religion in order to appease those who believe in no God.. Thereby promoting their belief over all others, unconstitutional. Thanks for this insight.
