Do you take joy in lying to an innocent child? Will you befriend someone who does? Are you answering hypocritically? Lie: (v) to utter falsehood with an intention to deceive (n) an intentional violation of the truth. White lies are still lies and “lying lips are an abomination to the Lord” (Prov 12:22 KJV). From an early age, children are taught to “Lie not one to another” (Col 3:9 KJV). Even so, most children are raised to believe in the Easter bunny, tooth fairy, and Santa Clause. Far too often, these stories overshadow the foundation of faith on the Lord. Ponder for a moment on what will happen to a child’s faith when they discover they have been lied to for years? Why should they have faith in God whom they can not see, when their trust in the world around them is compromised? How will they feel when their spirits are crushed? How will you feel? Jesus said “whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea” (Matt 18:6 KJV). Who am I to argue with the most high? Can I change the mindset of our “Christian Nation”? I won’t get my hopes up. I will however leave my suggestion: Stop lying to the children and start building a foundation of faith on the TRUTH.

I'm a Christian too.. But ya gotta lighten up dude... Like you would tell your Mom she looks bad or hurt someones feelings just so you can pat yourself on the back about being truthful.. And like we really use wine during the sacrament instead of Kool Aid....
God gave you humor dude.. Christmas has been celebrated with Saint Nick for years dude, look it up St. Nicholas was a real person who gave presents to the children. Don't you even watch the Learning Channel?
No wonder people are put off by Christians when they hear Hell Fire And Brimstone stuff like this... Sounds about as fanatical as Radical Islamics who also believe they have all the answers to the worlds problems....
How can an unbeliever distinguish the deference
if they see Bible Thumping and Koran Thumpin as the same... You cannot drag a horse to water but he can be led with patients and love.. Remember we are saved by grace.. We can never be good enough, we can only follow the path as it is revealed to us individually..

You should lighten up a little bit.I am a christian to and when i was little i was told there was a santa clause, tooth fiary, and an easter bunny and when i found out it wasnt true it didnt hurt me at all. No wonder christians are looked at in different ways becuse people like you take religion to seriously. God did give you a sense of humor and no one is perfect so lighten up have fun tell joke.If someone you loved asked you if they looked ok and you told them no they look horrible how would you think they would feel. Not very good. Just think about it and live a little becuase you are living a lie.
