Green Gecko Goners
In general, it's not good to leave large amounts of still water in a container outside, lest bugs lay their eggs and infest from it. I thought it would be a good idea to drain the old pot that contained green gucky water. So, I poured it out little by little. The rain water that had accumulated from the other day was now issuing out of the old pot to spread more of the green glow to make some more green grass. When I got to the bottom of the pot, I saw two geckos or lizards. At first, I thought they were toys that the kids left in and was seriously considering pulling them out. Then, it dawned on me that the two green geckos were “goners”. They were gross, and they were gone. They were dead. I couldn't help but think of their ancestors at the time of Noah's flood.
Job 40:15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. Job 41:1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook?or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?
Genesis 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. Genesis 7:23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
