Much has been made of the crucifiction of Jesus. How can someone who exibited so much love have been so cruely treated? Those people responsible must have been monsters. So it begins; the blame game.
From the very begining history has shown that it is human nature to blame someone for all the ills of the world. If I can put the blame on someone then it shows that it wasn't my fault. It started back in the garden of Eden when God asked Eve why she had eaten the forbidden fruit and she replied that the serpent had decieved her. It was no different with Adam. He blamed Eve.
Today we like to blame the Jews for the crucifiction of Jesus, or at least the Jewish leaders, which amounts to the same thing. Some may blame the Romans but I suspect that this is just a clever way to avoid being labled anti semetic.
The truth of the matter is that YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE AND SO AM I!! Jesus said that all have fallen and come short of the glory of God. This means that Jesus had to become a sacrifice for your sins and mine. I firmly believe that if everyone could live a sinless life and if I was the only sinner that ever lived; Jesus would still have gone to the cross for me and He would have done it for you too. Consider this, if, "All have fallen and come short of the glory of God," that means that Jesus even had to go to the cross for the salvation of His own mother. Think about it. It's sin that put Jesus on the cross. Yours and mine. This world would be a much better place if we all took our share of blame in the crucifiction.
