I never would have believed that my ten-year volunteer program, BE A WINNER IN LIFE, presented to incarcerated kids, in Juvenile Hall in San Diego, could be suspended because I used the word “GOD” in my book and presentation. The reason given for the suspension was they must enforce “separation of church and state”.
How foolish to think our religious beliefs, or any of our freedoms are protected, because we live in America.
Until this movement, to take our freedoms away, personally affects you, you won’t believe it either. The same forces, which ignited Hitler and the evil, which almost took over the world, are still at work. If we don’t fight for our freedoms, today, they will be lost! Don’t be foolish enough to think it can’t happen! It is happening!
I have a copy of at 1973 newspaper article, which reads: In 1931, Joseph Stalin issued a directive to Communist Party organizers and secretaries which outlined just how non-communist countries were to be subverted and prepared for communism.
Excerpts from the directive appear on page 111 of Conflicts of the Ages by Dr. Arno Goebelein. Published in 1932. Among other things, Stalin urges the promotion of immorality, attacks on Christianity, the promotion of atheism and the introduction of “cults”. He orders cardres to promote legalized abortion, “ugly” art, free love, the destruction of the family unit and the work ethic. He called for the undermining of patriotism and the promoting of “internationalism.” It advises using “liberal minded” clergymen and professors to give talks on “the evils of the golden serpent of profit”, the brainwashing of youth into pacifism to the point of not resisting aggression. Between state monopoly: the infiltration of economic organizations; and the launching of “friendship” societies and fronts, Stalin’s directive orders attacks on all political parties and the weakening of all government departments by corruption as well as the creating of suspicion and distrust of government. He advised “Amplify fact by fiction and create startling exposures”.
Only an ostrich could believe that it is pure coincidence that directives issued 72 years ago and published in 1932 should have all but been accomplished by 2003.

I don't understand what having the word "God" in a book of yours would have to do with suspending a volunteer program dealing with incarcerated youth. If this is the case for removing the program, because of your book and that one word ... well, I find it unbelieveable that this could take place in America. Who would have such power, number 1, and why would it apply to that progam, number 2? How utterly bizarre.
Seems that other memebers of your group, if there are any, could stand in alliance and fight for your program. Just mind boggling.

Beamer, the writer said that the word "GOD" was used in the book and presentation. That's where the excuse arises to stop the program. My question would be What "GOD"? Buddha, Allah, Zeus, Sun god, Moon god, Satan or Christian god. If no God was specified then no particular religion was being sanctified by the presentation and therefore by the government and was not in violation of separation of church and State. The constitution only forbids the government from embracing one religion over another or to impede the practicing or choosing not practice religious beliefs.
Liberals have warped the meaning of the separation of church and state to suit their goals. Read History to see how this has evolved into this ridiculous and unconstitutional interpretation we now are dealing with. Good article, the enemy of freedom is apathy. We all will eventually wake up to find that we are slowly having our freedoms taken away, here a little there a little.
