Steward of Mysteries: Pastor Ken Bates
A steward is a person who takes care of things. He is a faithful servant to take care of something. We are to be careful stewards of the mysteries of God.
1) 1 Timothy 3:16 Mystery of godliness-mystery of diety of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was born of a virgin. (Liberals oppose this.) If we had been good stewards, Mormons or Jehovah Witnesses would have not made headway in this country.
2) Colossians 1 Mystery of Christ- the hope of Jesus- in command of my life. Jesus should be at the throne, and I should be at his feet.
3) Ephesians 5: Christ and the Church v. 32 but I speak concerning Christ and the church. V 25 love your wives…v30 for we are members of his body … 1 flesh. Paul is saying about being saved-born again. Those born again v16 for two shall be one flesh. That’s a mystery. Wife is sitting next to you-how can you two be one flesh? It’s a mystery. Christ is in the third heaven. I’m down here. Explain that.
Ephesians 2:5 even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us
Hebrews 4:16 (seated in heavenly places and can walk right in)

c) Romans 11: deals with the restoration of the nation of Israel. If President Carter would not have sided with Egypt against Israel, if President Clinton had believed God’s Word, he would not have sided with Yassar Arafat, and the PLO against Israel. If George Bush had not sided with the Palestinians and carved up the Promised land that God gave to the Jews and made a Palestinian state. God said that he gave that land to Israel and then we choke her to death, forcing her to give up the west bank, Gaza, and Jericho, and Hebron, and more!
d) Romans 11:25-26-29 v25 says, an unbelieving Jew is an enemy of the gospel. The mystery is that God is not done with Israel. It may look like it since all nations are primed and ready and developing weapons against Israel.
V 28 you and I are to love the Jews
Every nation that has turned its back on the Jew has been severely dealt with; there was once upon a time when Spain was the #1 nation upon this earth. They had ruled the world. You remember when you were back in highschool and you read about Balboa, Cortes, Ponce de Leon, Columbus, and Vasco de Gama-everyone of those cats were Spanish! Spain ruled the entire world, and after it cursed the Jew, it has been a nothing country for 400 years. Coronado got off at the gulf of Mexico. He walked to Kansas. Most of us don’t have the strength to drive that far! Yet, he walked through LA, and AK dressed in armor and fighting mosquitos and yellow fever. That’s what the Spaniards are made of! Well in 1492, Columbus sailed. The Spanish inquisition seized Jews and forced them to be baptized Catholic or face the confiscation of their property. They took their goods, tortured, and murdered them. The Spanish Armatta sailed in the English channel to take on the English. Sir Frances Drake met and demolished them and every nation that has persecuted the Jew has got it back in ….from God. In 1918, there was a man named Weizman, and he discovered a brand new type of gunpowder, and it helped the allies win WWI. It was such a benefit done for his people the Jews to show their appreciation of research and development, so Lord Balfour and some others set up the Balfour declaration to give back the land of Israel to the Jews as their homeland, but when Lord Balfour go the ball rolling, the leader of Arabia said at the end of the war, in front of Parliament and said, “if you let the Jews in there, the oil is going to stop flowing.” So, the debate was sparked and it began in Parliament as to what to do. Either make it a British mandate or just open it up and give it to the Jews. And when the time came after the discussion the Speaker of Parliament got up, and declared he was against the Jews, saying, “I’m against giving that land to the Jews. (Sir Winston Churchill). Sir John Halsome, old Puritan, used to sit in the House of Commons, and he caught up in tears opened to Amos 9: 13-15. He cried: “You know that God gave that land to his chosen people and you’re not doing right! So, when they loaded the boats over there to Palestine, and they got off, the Jews found themselves surrounded with barbed wired fences on the beaches. They were English fences. We need to learn something, we better not put the Jew on the rack. Winston said, don’t you give that land to the Jews….and when Germany got through with England, all that was left was blood and sweat and tears. What’s left of that empire? That empires upon which they boasted that the sun never sat? England is now ranked as a fifth rank nation with a milestone around the neck of the free world. England is now the country that has encouraged homosexuality, Beatles, drug culture, confiscated fire arms, and has the Anglican church which openly denies the deity of Christ. Germany decided one day to whip England. God said to the Jews, “I don’t want you to worry about the mandate in Palestine-you just go back home onto the land,” but the Jews didn’t go back. After they were given license and liberty- you know what its like in the 0’s,10’s,20’s, sanddunes, deserts, lizards. The Jews in Germany and Europe had it going good. Early 20’s, great depression, Jews went into Germany and practically bought up the whole country and bought up industry, Hitler was indeed a madman! But he knew where to point the finger and get insurrection. He told everyone that it was the Jews fault. Jews were told to go back to the land.
Beloved, every single Orthodox Jew in America knows what he’s supposed to do. He reads it every time he picks up the OT. The last book in the Orthodox Jewish testament has the same 39 books of our OT. They are arranged differently. The last book is 2 Chronicles, and the very last verse and that tells them v23:Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? The LORD his God be with him, and let him go up. Every Jew knows this, but business is good in America…
May 14, 1948, until the Lord comes back and what Hitler did is nothing but a tea party compared to what the AntiChrist is going to do to them during the tribulation. Hitler killed 5-6 million of them and what the AntiChrist is going to kill 2-3 X as many. You gotta love the Jew. You gotta take care of the Jew. You slight the Jew at your own peril. Genesis 12:2-3 you ignore it at your own peril. If Hitler had taken care of the Jews, if Hitler had fed them, and clothed them, and schooled them, and given them medical care, he would have conquered all of Europe, Asia, and Africa. But, he persecuted them and he killed them. If he would have listened to his generals, he would have whipped them but God took away his mind, and he couldn’t think because he had messed with the Jews. We need to pray for the Jew and his conversion. Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, one in Christ Jesus. Trusting Jesus Christ is salvation. He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life…” When you die, are you going to heaven or to hell? Jesus is the only way. God Almighty is truthful.
