The kingdom of heaven is physical. It is Israel. Matthew 11:12 says, And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. Now, if you do not read the King James Bible, also known as the Authorized Version, then, you will get a totally different verse and meaning. This is part of the problem in America. We have gotten away from doctrine of the Bible, the Word of God, and have replaced it with corrupted books that are falsely called Bible. As a result, we have cults like Mormonism that use additional books, and Jehovah Witnesses that use NWT, and Catholicism that teach that instead of Jesus Christ being the rock of the church, they believe that Peter is and thus the pope is the so-called "vicar" of the church. No.
The kingdom of heaven is suffering violence today. That is, Israel is suffering violence today.
Other so-called bibles will say: NIV
From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.
Take a look at this ridiculous thing that the NIV is saying. "The kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it."
That is very different from what the KJV says. The KJV says, "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force."
The truth is Israel is suffering violence right now, and the violent are taking it by force. That is what the Bible says, and that is what is happening.
This was one of the verses that helped me to switch to the Authorized Version-King James Bible after reading having the NIV.
