The ACLU founded by Roger Baldwin in 1920 is against for what America originally stands for:  "I am for Socialism, disarmament, and ultimately the abolishing of the state itself as an instrument of violence and compulsion.  I seek social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class, and sole control by those who produce wealth.  Communism is the goal."

The ACLU is against marriage.  He said this as part of his wedding vows: "To us who passionately cherish the vision of a free human society, the present institution of marriage among us is a grim mockery of essential freedom...We deny without reservation the moral right of state or church to bind by force a law a relationship that cannot be maintained by the power of love alone." The ACLU is against freedom, though it purports the freedom of pornographers, homosexuals, atheists, and itself. The ACLU uses patriotism as a coverup for its destructive agenda: "We want also to look like patriots in everything we do.  We want to get a good lot of flags, talk a good deal about the Constitution and what our forefathers wanted to make of this country, and to show that we are really the folks that stand for the spirit of our institutions." The ACLU led by Roger Baldwin uses strategies: winning key legal precedents through sympathetic judges, taking on a few "conservative" defendants to deflect criticism and confuse opponents, intimidate and threaten and often sue people who stand in its way, and build up enormous resources in manpower and money.

The ADF, the Alliance Defend Fund, seeks to expose the ACLU and "its radical agenda" against the United States.

The Alliance Defense Fund (January 18, 2008 letter) will
1) litigate cases that defend religious freedom and traditional values
2) provide funds to help allied attorneys do the same
3) train attorneys in the best strategies to defeat the ACLU and its allies. The goal is to train 5,000 allied attorneys. So far, 1,000 have already graduated from the ADF Academy.

The American Civil Liberties Union is not about liberties. It is about destroying the foundations of America by "demanding that public schools and government stop recognizing and celebrating 200 year old cultural and historical traditions, remove all historic documents from building walls, and stop all teaching or even mentioning certain subjects to students because they violate "the separation of church and state."
