Yes, it is true! You are consuming bleach when you eat that white bread. You can count all of the calories, and you will still gain weight because when you consume bleach, you are putting poison into your body, and your body is rebelling. Many Americans have bloated stomachs because their innards are so perturbed by the bleach they are consuming. They have inflammation of their organs!
If you have a choice between wheat bread and white bread, take the wheat bread. If you have a choice between white refined sugar and brown sugar, take the brown sugar. If you have a choice between white milled rice and brown rice, take the brown rice. It may not taste as "tasty" as your white stuff, but it's an acquired taste, and your body will thank you for it in the long run. Why cause your body all of that torment? If you don't have a choice, don't eat it. Just eat a banana, for your sake!
Most diabetics will find they have diabetes for this reason: bleached aka refined sugar. You are taking in two terrible things into your body, refined sugar that has been ripped off of its natural components.
When you eat that donut, it is a slow death sentence: fried bleached flour. There is no nutritional value, you are consuming bleach, and now you have all of this inflammatory powder sitting in your innards while you consume a cup of black coffee filled with caffeine, more white refined sugar, and processed cream. The only nutrition that you get is from the pickle that's on your hamburger that's been fried in only he knows what, after you've picked off the tomato, onion, and lettuce, while you keep the cheese, and pour on the cholesterol-ful sauce, only to top it off with a cup of soda.
Kids were singing just as a joke, "Everybody eat your Jericho." They were so true. America's gluttony and ignorance is part of its downfall.
