this is my take on what gov lawmakers need to do for the economy, first when gas prices rose during the summer so did gross domestic products, well the gas prices receded but none of the prices that was raised to cover gas cost did, reduce the prices on gross national products back to what they were a year ago
two- give the homeowners a option to refianiance with a longer mortgage term
three-do the same with higher priced vehicles, make the banks offer longer terms than 5 yrs
and last but not least have the gov. help homeowners to invest in clean energy for thair home

How to fix the economy is even simpler, get rid of Government intervention other than to stiffen over site of a free market. This Government has, for some unknown reason, purposely prevented the free market from righting itself. It has been a mad rush to throw taxpayer money at the problem with no over site. President Obama and the Liberals have turned the situation into a sending spree to fund Liberal organizations, goals and agenda's. And they aren't even hiding the fact. The stimulus package has little effect on actually helping the economic situation. Democrats want to lay all this debt at taxpayers door while Pres. Obama keeps picking Cabinet people who fail to pay their taxes, how hypocritical can you get? The media has built Obama up into a Christ like figure, how are they going to deal with HIS Failures? He is already loosing ground in the Poles even among Democrats who are finding out Obama is just a man after all..
People expect Obama to fix in a year and a half what conservatives/republicans have screwed up over 30 years!
