This new a Administration has kept its promise of CHANGE. It has done more in the last few weeks to destroy the America of the past than any other Administration. The free market has continued to be blocked from righting itself by continued interference of a Growing Government that will continue to grow with the massive liberal funding bill pushed through congress.
It will finance moves to a Government run Socialistic economy. It will be used to finance the beginnings of a Socialistic Health System where Government Agents will decide your treatment options, not you and your Doctor. It will be used to finance the support for the Bill H.R. 45 in which gun owners will have to carry a photo ID firearms license. A training class is required to be licensed. Disclosure of their storage method is required for license. A thumb print is required for license. Every sale recorded by the federal government. If you move, and don't tell the Attorney General within 60 days, you are a criminal. If a firearm is stolen and you don't report it, you are a criminal. There will be no grandfathered firearms. If you do not obtain a license and report every firearm you currently own, you are a criminal. There will be a license fee and a fee for the "services" provided at purchase time. Licenses must be renewed every 5 years. The Bill, H.R. 45, is dated 6 January, 2009.
It will help fund moves to pass 'The Fairness Doctrine' that the Obama Administration now supports. This old regulation was the brain child of a Liberal FCC Administrator and was taken off the books by Ronald Reagan. It ONLY HAS TO DO WITH RADIO, not Television or any other media. It sounds fair and balanced saying that all views are to be given equal time on political issues, sounds fair. Except everyone knows that Hollywood, the Television News Media, most television Programming is mostly liberal in its presentations. Only in radio has Conservative Talk Shows been dominate. If Liberals can shut people like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and others up, they will do it. The 'Fairness Doctrine', would force Radio station owners to put on opposing liberal views of equal time knowing if the liberal program fails it also forces the Conservative program off air. Or Liberals could just choose not to put a show on a given station in a Conservative area and still force that station to take the conservative show off the air. No matter how you paint it, that's Government backed Censorship....
And its not finished yet. The Obama Administration for political reasons decided the Census Bureau can no longer function with out the direct Executive branch oversight and guidance. The Political reason can only be the re-alignment of political districts to favor the administration.
So in less than a month;
This administration has met with Muslims on Islamic television promising to spend US taxpayer Dollars to support ' victims ' in the Gaza Strip after months of rocket
attacks against our ally Israel.
This administration has tied the hands and taken away facilities for the detention and questioning of Islamic extremist who intend on doing us harm.
This administration has indebted our children and grandchildren for decades in financing this thinly veiled Liberal funding package.
This administration now supports the silencing of opposition views using the 'Fairness Doctrine' as a cover law to force radio stations to dump all political talk shows unless all views can be covered equally. this law can be used in censoring the opposition by just not participating in radio talk..
This administration fully supports H.R. 45 and any other gun grabbing ideas to diminish the 2nd Amendment rights of citizens. The Government Centralization of Gun owner information has always precluded the disarming of Citizens in history..
This administration has with this stimulus bill set in play the Government Centralization of Health Information on every Citizen of the United States with the purpose to set the stage for Socialized Medicine.
If we and our representatives in Congress had been given a chance as promised to read what is actually in this so called stimulus package, we would undoubtedly find more agendas and goals hidden within. But what amazes me even more is that we have a Congress made up mostly of Lawyers signing on (voting) for a bill they haven't even read. What has happened in America that the largest spending bill in our history passes with NO review?
Evidently what has been discovered in this bill by citizens caused an overwhelming reaction against this bill no matter what political views they held. All polls show over 50% of citizens were against this Stimulus Package do to the Partisan Pork and Agendas financed there. And our representatives still passed it..
What amazes me is that citizens know that plans are afoot to indebt us, silence opposition, disarm us and Centralize Government control over our jobs, shelter, banking and health. And all this is not even stirring enough anger and opposition to take to the streets in protest, as was done during the Vietnam and Civil Rights Era.
This hard left path our Government is taking will cost us far more than Vietnam or Civil Rights issues ever thought of... Think about it... This is about your rights to hold opposing views, your right to be free of Government dictates regarding your pursuit of happiness and your right to defend yourself. These are the basic rights of life of Eating, thinking and protecting self and family. But no one is protesting in mass.
Maybe we have been conditioned over time to forget what real freedom is. Liberal History Channel presentations will not tell you... Back just after George Washington became the first President, we had real freedom in far more areas than we do now.. Government has grown away from the Constitution and has been picking like a vulture at our rights ever sense giving one excuse or other to placate our protest until now we have come down to this...
We have lost our Balls to stand up for what is right, for what has been fought and died for, for what keeps us different than all other Nations, for what has saved the world in two wars, for what people of the world still come here for.
We will be no better than submissive Europe before long, a bunch of sniveling back stabbing give me societies, absent any self reliance or backbone...

Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA, and
the military.
You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore, and Rosie O'Donnell (You are, however,
responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move them).
We'll keep the capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies,
Wal-Mart, and Wall Street. You can have your beloved homeless, homeboys,
hippies, and illegal aliens. We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy
CEO's, and rednecks.
We'll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood.
You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to
invade and hammer places that threaten us.
You can have the peaceniks and war protestors. When our allies or way of
life are under assault, we'll provide them job security. We'll keep our
Judeo-Christian values.. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism,
and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N. But we will no longer be
paying the bill. We'll keep the SUVs, pickup trucks, and oversized luxury
cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find. You can give
everyone healthcare, if you can find any practicing doctors. We'll continue
to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right. We'll keep The Battle
Hymn of the Republic and the National Anthem. I'm sure you'll be happy to
substitute Imagine, I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing, Kum Ba Ya, or We
Are the World. We'll practice trickle down economics, and you can give
trickle up poverty its best shot. Since it often so offends you we'll keep
our history, our name, and our flag.

Semi Retired and sad at seeing America Go down this path of Socialism. I'm not rich, We don't have medical coverage. My wife and I made 16,000 dollars in 2008. We own a non running 1984 Nissan 4X4, an old 79 Ford Pickup. and a small 88 Ford van. We live in a small house we built, no contractors, we built it with the help of our 4 grade school kids in 1970. We are self reliant, we make do... Even being near the bottom of the economic ladder, we believe this plan is still WRONG for AMERICA.... These Socialistic goals will only further diminish our abilities to be self reliant in our daily lives. Being recipients of handouts does build character as does fending for ones self, the question is which Character benefits America, a dependency character or one born of being self reliant.
