I'm just getting started in this Holistic, Natural health thing. I have come to believe that nature has all our needs for health if we just open our minds and look. Really think about it, Western Medicine treats symptoms, whether by pills. lotions or surgery. But it does only token amounts of providing accurate info in preventing illness in the first place. Even when they give this info they keep changing their minds on it's accuracy. Don't get me wrong, Western Medicine is not ALL bad but I wish it was more open minded and tolerant of some proven alternative methods of treatments..

So let me bore you for a minute as to why I started looking into this area. My wife and I lost our jobs when the plant we worked in closed. NAFTA really helped, it moved our jobs to Canada.. We had been going to the Company Doctor. Now we have no Doctor nor Medical Insurance. I have been taking Medication for years for heart arrhythmia. If I go a day or so without the medication, my heart starts skipping beats or pounding fast and hard. The prescription ran out and now I was stuck. Basically I found out there was an alternative to the high priced drugs I've been taking. All these years I have paid for high priced drugs. I found out that a substance lacking in my diet can could be causing the problem . I started taking this common substance and the heart problem has gone away. Needless to say I was pissed off that this dietary deficiency, known to have this side effect, was not brought to my attention by many Doctors over my life. And to learn that this dietary deficiency is common in the United States diet. No, I'm not going to tell you what has replaced the Medications, as I'm not a Doctor and it works for me and may not for you. I suggest you start looking for yourself as I did for "Natural Remedies".

I did find out that ONLY 20% of the worlds population depends on WESTERN MEDICINE for their health needs while 80% of the people of this world look elsewhere for their health needs, I decided to look else where also.

Medical discoveries; a thought here, how profitable is it to the medical field NOT to discover a cure for Cancer and many other diseases. Do you think the medical establishment (AMA) and the Pharmaceutical Companys would ever suppress a treatment for cancer and other diseases in order to keep the monies rolling in?

Which makes more money for Doctors, Hospitals and Drug companies? Curing a problem or treating it for life with office visits, hospital stays and life long Medication use?

Check out how in the United States the medical field and Drug companies working through the FDA suppresses cures and cheaper treatments for many illnesses with natural substances by litigation to suppress information getting to the public even when it has been proven to cure or treat. Basically, drug manufactures can not patent a natural substance, if they can not isolate the active ingredient and synthesize it they can not patent it. So they will, with the FDA's help, suppress the use of a Natural substance in the treatment for anything, period. The drug manufactures, AMA and FDA appear to be working in concert to suppress all information regarding the effectiveness of Natural cures and treatments. This information cuts into profits from patented medicine use. Just look at your TV ads for all the pills being pushed for every known ailment of mankind. Some ads are for ailments I've never heard of like "Restless Leg Syndrome", known as "RLS". They got a pill for a whole lot of other abbreviated illnesses. But how many times do you hear of a break through PILL that Cures anything, you don't. They don't want you cured, they want you to take pills for the rest of your life. Working together they passed laws barring Natural treatments from making any claims even though they have been proven to work.

There is information out there from respected Doctors and Research groups on the effectiveness of Common and Natural treatments and cures for mans ailments. Shhhhh, They don't want you to know about cures. You will find that those who bring this scientific information forward are not from the good ole USA. The scientific backing to Natural cures and treatments are now mainly coming from England and other European countries. Gathering natural treatments and cures from around the world and testing them for effectiveness....

Doctors who bring out this information or practices Natural alternative treatments here in AMERICA are at risk legally from the AMA and the FDA, the "Lap Dogs" of the Pharmaceutical Companies.

(A side thought here that will upset some people.....)

Ya know no political system is perfect including Capitalism. Having said that, I believe we do need to move to socialized medicine like Canada, where no one is left out. I believe with socialized medicine job availability would increase as employers would no longer have to pay exorbitant health insurance cost. Check out how quickly Employers are dropping or limiting health care coverage as medical cost fly throught the roof,  far out pacing the cost of living average. Right-wing say Socialized Medicine would cost to much in taxes, Wake up people, what does your medical insurance cost per month to cover your family now, $400, $500, $600. How much of this is just to line someones pocket? How much is actually making up for the cost of providing services to those with NO insurance? At least under a Socialized system all would pay into it, (And even better if we had a Federal Sales Tax rather than an Income Tax System, but that is another subject.) It does not take a rocket scientist to see that this isn't working, Insurance Companies and the Pharmaceutical Companies are are making a HUGE profit and loose their most recent meal at the thought of Socialized Medicine, sending their lobbyist into overtime working hard to keep the golden goose on the nest. Check out how they are using Agencies like FDA, AMA, and Customs to keep Natural remedies and cures from being advertised. How they work together to punish those citizens who cross into Canada and Mexico to buy the same drug at ridiculously low prices. They claim Americans have to pay higher prices to support research.. Ya, I say Bovine Scattolla to that.... They are purposely locking us into a captive market..... Socialized Medicine scares the crap out of the Pharmaceutical Companies, medical practitioners, the Insurance Industry and lap dog politicians who reap financial support in holding the golden goose on the nest. Why are they upset, LOOSING MONEY, the bottom line, that's why..... It's all about money, not service to the community in a cost effective manner. It's a get what ya can mentality...... In short capitalism in the medical field HAS GONE NUTS, and is hurting and yes killing the people, FOR WHAT, to line the pockets of a few.

Type in "Hoxsey Treatment"

Read all you can find on this treatment . Go ahead and read all the negative stuff but keep looking and you will find out through all the propoganda what really happened. It's out of print now but try to find a book titled " You don't have to Die" by Harry Hoxsey, Milestone Books (New York), 1956. In this book he gives a history of the development of his treatments and the difficulties with the established Medical institutions. The book includes court decisions regarding the effectiveness of the "Hoxsey Treatment" for Cancer... The book includes his deal with the AMA to give the formulas to them if they would intern guarantee not to charge over $600 for treatment to cure cancer, he, in the book states the AMA refused.... Hmmmm........
